Form as Decision

Gambaro is a contemporary jewelry house based in Colombia, founded by two sisters who see gesture as the origin of form.

For us, form is a decision: the moment intention takes direction and becomes visible through material. Each piece begins there—not as ornament, but as the physical expression of an idea.

Gesture is the trace that intention leaves in form. It shapes how a piece is constructed, how it moves, and how it relates to the body.

Our process develops through a dialogue between structure, material, and movement. We create jewelry not simply to decorate the body, but to inhabit it—to be worn with presence and felt as part of the person who carries it.

We work through Gestures: actions that generate distinct sculptural languages and define how each form is built. Within this system, structure carries intention and material gives it presence.

For us, jewelry is not an accessory, but a conscious relationship with form and material—pieces made to be chosen, worn, and lived with.
