Frequently Asked Questions
Sizing & Fit
How do I know my ring size?
If you don't know your size, you can measure it at home in two ways:
Option 1 — Measure a ring you already own (most accurate)
- Place the ring on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter (edge to edge, across the center) in millimeters.
- Match it to the size chart below.
Option 2 — Measure your finger
- Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger (snug, not tight).
- Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimeters.
- Match it to the circumference chart below.
If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up slightly for comfort. Our standard sizes are US 6 and 7. If you require another size, we can produce your ring through preorder (approx. 4 weeks).
Still unsure? Send us your measurement (mm) and the finger you'll wear it on, and we'll recommend the best size.
What ring sizes do you offer?
Our rings are stocked in US sizes 6 and 7 — chosen as our standard sizes for comfort and proportion. Additional sizes are available through preorder. Each custom ring is produced specifically for you and typically requires about four weeks.
Can rings be resized?
Some pieces may allow resizing depending on structure. Not all sculptural forms permit modification. Please contact us for evaluation.
Materials & Craft
Are Gambaro gemstones natural?
Yes. All gemstones are natural and individually selected. Variations in tone, inclusions, or surface are part of their origin and character.
What is gold vermeil?
Gold vermeil is a fine jewelry construction made with a base of solid 925 sterling silver, coated with a generous layer of 18k gold.
Our vermeil pieces are finished with 2.5 microns of 18k gold—a substantially thicker layer than conventional gold plating—offering greater richness, durability, and depth of color.
The result preserves the value and structure of a precious-metal base while achieving the presence and finish of gold.
Will finishes change over time?
Jewelry evolves with wear. Softening finishes or subtle surface marks are natural signs of interaction—not defects.
Do you offer solid gold pieces?
Yes. Selected designs are available in solid 18k gold or produced in gold by request. Availability may vary by piece.
Care & Wear
How should I store my jewelry?
We recommend keeping each piece in its Gambaro pouch when not worn to protect surfaces and gemstones.
Can I wear my jewelry every day?
Pieces are designed to be lived with. However, removing jewelry during high-impact activities helps preserve finishes and structure.
Orders & Production
Are pieces made to order?
Some pieces are available immediately, while others may require production time — especially custom or gold requests. Our team will always communicate timelines clearly.
Can I request customization?
Depending on the design, certain adjustments may be possible. Each request is evaluated individually.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Delivery timelines and customs responsibilities vary by destination.
Will I receive tracking information?
When available, tracking details are provided once your order ships.
Repairs & Warranty
Can my piece be repaired?
Many repairs are possible after evaluation. Damage caused by impact or misuse may be repairable at a charge.
What is covered under warranty?
Warranty applies to verified production defects. Wear, scratches, or gemstone damage from impact are not considered manufacturing faults.
Showroom & Appointments
Can I visit the showroom?
Yes. Visits are by private appointment to ensure a dedicated experience with the pieces.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You may contact us directly through our website or showroom channel to arrange a visit.
Packaging & Experience
How will my jewelry arrive?
Each piece is packaged in Gambaro's protective pouch and presentation packaging, designed to preserve the object and enhance the receiving experience.
General Care Philosophy
Is jewelry meant to stay perfect?
Jewelry is meant to be worn, not preserved untouched. Subtle evolution reflects lived interaction — part of the piece's character.
